Joshua Kerrigan’s Business Success with Yacht Management

Ten years ago, Joshua Kerrigan founded Yacht Management. Joshua Kerrigan had been interested in all aspects of yacht care since he worked at a marina when he was a young teenager, and saw all of the incredibly inefficient ways that yachts were maintained and managed. The result? Joshua Kerrigan founded his own company, based in the principles of efficient yacht management and excellent customer service.

Since then, Joshua Kerrigan has been serving the South Florida yachting community, providing monthly maintenance checks, brokerage and sales management, financial and budget management, repairs, personnel, and a whole host of other yacht care services.

Joshua Kerrigan’s mission to provide quality, efficient yacht services has certainly been achieved, and his company has the expansion record to prove that business is booming. As of this writing, Joshua Kerrigan has hired 25 full time staff members, including multiple captains, a diver, a head stewardess, and multiple mechanical and cosmetic repair specialists.

During the 2012-2013 winter season, Joshua Kerrigan will be traveling to the Bahamas (along with his trusted seafaring canine companion, Yachty) to open a new Yacht Management office in Nassau. At the same time, Yacht Management will be overseeing the permitting and construction of a new marina in South Florida. Joshua Kerrigan’s company will perform all of the maintenance and management for the yachts, ranging from 40 to 130 feet, that moor in the marina’s planned 25 slips.

Joshua Kerrigan has over 150 monthly clients who come in for regular maintenance on their yachts. He and his team have serviced over 1,000 yachts since the company’s founding, and are in the process of pursuing additional clients through a new charter service. Partnering with Joshua Kerrigan, yacht owners can find an additional source of income by chartering their yachts, bringing in even more clients who then utilize Yacht Management’s other services.
